Seeds of Change - NPCs

The following NPCs are ones that are generally known to all in the area – more will be added as they are encountered. Please note that to avoid the problem of physreps being unavailable NPCs will be represented by an item of kit as much as a person where needed – this will be listed with the NPC for reference purposes.

Carlin Howham

Mayor Elanor Loxley

Mayor Loxley, if asked, only holds allegience to Carlin Howham and the Kingdom. She is known to have been a Guard once upon a time but retired from that life when she became Mayor – these days she’s respected for her skills in handling the council far more than handling a weapon.

Many, many years ago when she was a hapless youth, Elanor Loxley was herself a member of one of the Kingdom irregular patrols, and as a result is strongly aware both of the value of the patrolling system and the need to break some people into it gently. She was responsible for the current patrolling system being implemented around Carlin Howham when she became its first Kingdom-bred Mayor and has had no cause to regret the decision since.

Mr Samuel Proots, Sec.
The current patrol organiser and paperwork-handler, and Secretary to the Mayor of Carlin Howham; he holds no direct Guild allegiance, but shares pertinent information from reports freely with all of the Guilds and relevant organisations within the area.

Other

Trader Joe
Trader Joe passes through the area on an irregular schedule, carrying a stock of trade goods and rumours for various prices. His stock list will be limited, but you may be able to pick up a few bargains here and there – and there may be truth in the rumours, which will never cost more than a beer or another interesting bit of information in return.
