One-Year Field Assignment in Archaeology
An exciting opportunity has arisen to investigate a previously unrecorded ruin in the south-east of the Barony, near the borders with Hassani lands and Arboria. Preliminary investigations have revealed large concentrations of miraculous power at the site, and tooling on several exposed outcrops that suggests ancient script.
We are looking for researchers with the right combination of interest, aptitude, and get-up-and-go to spend a year on a dig, jointly funded between ourselves, the Temple of Balance, the Defenders, the Humacts and the Circle. In addition to excavation and research, the successful candidates would be expected to take an active part in the new settlement being built around the site, with opportunities to patrol, and to promote diplomatic relations with both the Hassani and the Arborian druids.
The assignment will commence in October. Any and all applications are welcome, from both the Temple and from all other guilds; prospective candidates should apply to Seeker Karynthia as soon as possible for further geographical information, and the latest updates from the site. Good luck to all who apply!
To all Guardians,
The Temple has secured a stake in an archaeological dig due to commence in October, at the village of Maiden Ery near Arboria and Hassani lands. We are looking for members in good standing who can spend a year at the site investigating the site’s potential, and ensure fair return on the Temple’s investment.
The dig is a joint venture between the Temple, the Seekers, the Defenders, the Circle and the Humacts, and will potentially involve all other guilds. A settlement will be created around the site, and there will be opportunities to create and wield influence in both this and the resulting local patrols, as well as forge relationships with the local druids and Hassani.
Applications should be made to Guardian Ferris, who will provide further information, and arrange travel and basic equipment.
Wanted: Wizards seeking external learning and research opportunities.
We have recently agreed to provide assistance with a dig in the south-east of the Barony Van Heusen, which while showing some miraculous properties has also been determined to have evidence of magical scripts. Anyone wishing to travel to the site and help to fully determine the nature of these scripts – and for that matter anything else of magical nature – should contact me for further instructions.

My Brothers and Sisters,
An archaeological site of some interest has been uncovered in the south-east of the Barony Van Heusen. As experience over the years has shown us that any ancient ruins will invariably conceal, attract or otherwise have links to the Undead, we are seeking volunteers to join in the excavations as the first line of information and defence.
All volunteers should make themselves known as soon as possible in order to minimise the time in which any potential threats may arise unnoticed.
